Gakken, a subsidiary of Gakken Holdings, released the latest installment of their “Secret Mysterious Mu Investigation Team!” series, titled “Secret Mysterious Mu Investigation Team! Nightmare!? Fluffy Panic,” on February 1, 2024. This series is a collaboration with the legendary occult magazine “Mu,” and follows the story of three elementary school students who delve into the world of “Mu” which includes UFOs, urban legends, and supernatural phenomena. The latest installment explores the theme of “dreams,” as the story unfolds with the sudden appearance of a large flock of sheep in town. Mysterious characters such as UMA and the Dream Man make appearances, making it a recommended read for children who enjoy mysteries and the occult. Additionally, the first volume of the series can be read for free as a trial on Gakken’s manga site, “Gakkomi.”
