LINE NEXT Inc. plans to develop web3 games utilizing popular game IPs from SEGA through their collaboration. The aim of this partnership is to provide web3 content that can be enjoyed by not only SEGA fans but also anyone who wants to have a casual gaming experience. While specific titles have not been announced yet, LINE NEXT will work on promoting the spread of web3 games through services such as NFT production, simplified payments, and marketing support. Furthermore, LINE NEXT’s web3 game platform, “GAME DOSI,” was launched in May 2023. This platform offers user-centered services and provides blockchain games using cryptocurrencies and NFTs. LINE NEXT is dedicated to building a global ecosystem for NFTs and web3.
